2012
Located in historic Park Slope, the building was a 4 family tenement dwelling with layouts that did not suit modern day living. EDG did a substantial rehabilitation of the premises. Each of the four reconfigured apartments has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, central HVAC, wood burning fireplaces and a modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances and stone countertops.
The top floor apartment has a private stair to the roof which was developed with a penthouse room, Ipe decking and steel railings. The first floor was developed as a duplex apartment with 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, kitchen, living and dining spaces on the first floor, and large recreation room, home office, laundry room and full bathroom on the lower garden level. There is also exclusive access to a 20’x30’, two level rear garden.
In addition to all new mechanical systems throughout, the front and rear facades were totally renovated, including new windows, masonry cleaning and pointing, front cornice rehabilitation, front door and stoop restoration, and development of front and rear yard areas. The project was developed as condominiums.
